Shark Minh further elaborated on the reason for choosing to bring "The Substance" to Vietnam: "This is a film that is highly artistic and unique in its expression. It raises many questions about beauty, power, and human trade-offs. I believe Vietnamese audiences will find it interesting and resonate with its profound message."
Beyond being a businessman, Shark Minh Beta also carries a burning passion for art and cinema. Over the years, he has continuously contributed to bringing many valuable, highly artistic projects to the public. Notable examples include "Children of the Mist" and "Dao, Pho, and Piano" – works that have not only resonated within the professional circles but have also touched the hearts of many art-loving audiences.
Mr. Bui Quang Minh shared, "I understand that distributing art films always has its own unique challenges, not to mention competing with commercial films. However, we still do our best to bring valuable works to the public, serving the enjoyment needs of the Vietnamese people. I believe in the long-term value that art cinema brings."
For Mr. Minh, cinema is not just an industry but also a means of conveying profound cultural and artistic values. "Each film is a story, a message that I want to send to the audience. I hope that through high-artistic-value works, we can further develop art cinema and aesthetic appreciation, because cinema is not just for entertainment but also for reflection and feeling," Mr. Minh passionately shared.

The film tells the story of Elizabeth Sparkle (played by Demi Moore), a star who has passed her career and beauty peak. However, with her fading beauty, she turns to a mysterious drug from the black market to create a younger version of herself (played by Margaret Qualley).
