At the meeting, Director General Nguyen Phuong Hoa congratulated Mr. Bui Quang Minh on his appointment as Honorary Consul of the Republic of Slovenia in Vietnam and expressed her belief that Mr. Bui Quang Minh personally and Beta Group would make positive and effective contributions to the process of promoting and deepening multifaceted cooperation between Vietnam and Slovenia, including in the fields of culture, sports and tourism, especially as the two countries celebrate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations in 2024. Ms. Nguyen Phuong Hoa also highly appreciated the active participation and contributions and support of Mr. Bui Quang Minh personally and Beta Group in the fields of cinema and sports in recent times.
Director General Nguyen Phuong Hoa stated that culture is an important bridge, contributing to strengthening friendship and mutual understanding between the people of the two countries. Ms. Hoa said that the Department of International Cooperation, in its role as the foreign affairs agency of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, is always proactive and actively cooperates with relevant agencies, organizations, and businesses to effectively implement foreign cultural activities, and proposed Honorary Consul Bui Quang Minh and Beta Group to consider and explore the possibility of participating in and coordinating the organization of events in Slovenia in particular, Europe in general, and other locations.

On behalf of Beta Group, Mr. Bui Quang Minh expressed his pleasure in having the opportunity to work with the Leaders of the Department of International Cooperation, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and expressed his appreciation for the attention of the state management agency to Beta Group and his willingness to coordinate and propose cooperative activities in the fields of culture, arts and cultural industries in the coming time. Exchanging views on the proposal to cooperate in organizing cultural promotion activities in Slovenia, Deputy Director General Tran Hai Van added that at a recent meeting between Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong and the Secretary-General of the Slovenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Affairs, the two sides had exchanged views on solutions and cooperation proposals in the fields of culture, sports and tourism between Vietnam and Slovenia, especially activities to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries (1994-2024), including cinema, which is Beta Group's strength. Ms. Tran Hai Van expressed her hope that on this occasion, Beta Group and the Department of International Cooperation could explore the possibility of cooperation between the two sides to introduce outstanding Vietnamese films to Slovenian friends and some neighboring European countries.
At the end of the meeting, the two sides agreed that the potential for cooperation between the two sides would open up opportunities for public-private partnerships in the fields of culture and tourism, especially contributing to the development of Vietnam's cultural industries in the coming time.
